Monodisperse Spherical Heteroparticles Nano-powders of "Core-Shell" Type

Monodisperse nano-powders from spherical geteroparticles of the type "core-shell" (the dispersion on the size < 10%).


“Core SiO2/shell (Lu1-xEux)2O3” heteroparticles (x = 0.07)

Core SiO2 diameter (± 7%): 200, 260, 330 nm.
The thickness of the crystalline shell (± 2 nm): 15, 30 and 45 nm.
Specific surface: 13-16 m2/g.
Crystal structure: core - amorphous;
shell  - cubic (a = 10,4450 Å).
Number of agglomerated particles: no more than 15%.
Eu3+ roentgenoluminescence λmax:  611 nm.

“Core SiO2/shell Me” heteroparticles, Me=Au, Pt, Pd

Core SiO2 diameter (± 7%): 40, 120, 350 nm.
Shell type:
- separate Au, Pt, Pd nanocrystals with controlled size from 1 to 7 nm and 30-70% degree of the filling of the core surface;
- solid shell thickness of 10 nm.
Crystal structure: core - amorphous;
shell - fcc (a = 4,070 Å, 3,920 Å, 3,870 Å for Au, Pt, Pd accordingly).
Number of agglomerated particles: no more than 10%.

Geteroparticles of SiO2 core/nanocrystals of PbS, ZnO semiconductors shell

Core SiO2 diameter (± 7%): 40, 120, 220, 350 nm.
Shell type:
- separate PbS nanocrystals with controlled size from 2 to 6 nm and 30-70% degree of the filling of the core surface;
- ZnO NC island coating of thickness from 2 to 10 nm.
Crystal structure: core-amorphous;
shell - PbS cubic (a = 5,950 Å),
ZnO hexagonal (a = 3.245, c = 5.206).
Number of agglomerated particles: no more than than 10%.
